I was born into a lifetime shaped by two very different family lineages. My paternal family carried generations of emotional struggle, while my maternal line was filled with spiritual sensitivity and faith. My great-grandmother Effie helped found the Hemphill Avenue Church of God in Atlanta (which later became the Mount Paran Church of God), and my great-aunt Minnie Lou served as a Tongue Interpreter. Their devotion to Spirit deeply influenced the soul work I do today.As a child growing up in South Atlanta, I experienced vivid dreams, visions, and messages from Spirit—gifts that were difficult for my parents to understand. A near-death experience in 1959 profoundly changed me, strengthening my lifelong connection to the Spirit world. Although I had to remain silent about those experiences for many years, Spirit never stopped calling.After my parents’ passing in 2004, I devoted myself to deep emotional and spiritual healing. Through therapy, EMDR, and holistic practices, I began transforming trauma into wisdom and compassion. My exploration of A Course in Miracles introduced me to the power of forgiveness and helped me recognize how every step of my life had been divinely guided.Following this inner guidance, I enrolled in Suzanne Giesemann’s 10-week mediumship course—a turning point made possible by an unexpected scholarship. That experience opened a new chapter in my journey, and I soon joined VerySoul.com to continue developing as a medium. In just over a year, I advanced from student medium to a member of the Starter and Outreach programs.Today, through my work as an evidential medium, I offer compassionate connections that bring comfort, healing, and peace to those seeking reassurance that love transcends this physical life. My calling is to help others remember that healing, hope, and Spirit’s light are always within reach.
